Kindle Paperwhite

Amazon may soon launch a new generation of its Kindle Paperwhite e-book reader.

The technology giant is probably planning a premiere for two variants of the device. The first standard is Paper White, the fifth generation of this popular reading device. The other was called the signature edition. What are the characteristics of these two models?

Two types of new Kindle Paperwhite readers

The base model Kindle Paperwhite 5 will have 8 GB of built-in memory, just like the current generation. The pixel density will be 300 ppi, which is not a change compared to the popular "four". However, the number of LEDs that light up the display will change. In the new model, there will be exactly 17 pieces. Interestingly, the user will also be able to adjust their color temperature. Just like the Kindle Oasis. The diagonal of the screen should be 6.8 inches.

The Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition should have 32 GB of built-in memory, a 6.8-inch screen and the same number of LEDs that light it up. However, the manufacturer used a light sensor in its case, which automatically adjusts the screen backlight. In addition, we can expect support for wireless charging. Both types will also be waterproof in IPX8 class and Wi-Fi connection.
